rooting only for version v10a - v10b using gingerbreak download here

How to Root:
1. install Gingerbreak
2. Open the Gingerbreak application
3. Click the "Root"
4. Wait until reboot
5. completed

How to Unroot:
1. Open the Gingerbreak application
2. Click "UnRoot"
3. Wait until reboot
4. completed

if you are going to rooting (OS version v10c or more) can use the Super One Click + Root Shell Process.

1. Download and start SuperoneClick, click Shell Root
2. When it hangs up on a black CMD windows, close this Window. (You should have Shell Root now)
3. Unpack the attached File in your ADB Folder.
4. open a Command Prompt and enter "adb push su /tmp/" & adb push superuser.apk /tmp/"
5. Type "adb shell" ( When Shellroot worked, you should se a "#" on the shell
6. Enter the following commands in shell:

7. The Phone will now reboot, after reboot it´s rooted again

LG Optimus Black P970 adhoc connections

- RootExplorer
- Go to / system / bin /
- Press the R / W that can be turned over to the R / O
- Rename wpa_supplicant in / system / bin / to wpa_supplicant.old (make backups)
- Paste wpa_supplicant, download here
- Start and restart wifi

if you want to use adb:
adb push wpa_supplicant / system / bin /
